Self-Love

I’ve been struggling to truly understand the concept of self-love. On one hand, society encourages us to love ourselves. Yet at the same time, that same society often defines self-love through doing more, not less. We're taught that to be worthy or successful, we must work harder, try harder, and achieve more. This creates a paradox—a tension between the idea of loving ourselves as we are, and the constant pressure to improve or accomplish. It feels as though the very system that promotes self-love also undermines it by tying our value to performance and productivity. I can’t help but wonder: in this tug-of-war between being and achieving, which path should we truly follow? Which do you believe in?
